How to Care for Your Epoxy Resin Table

To keep your custom epoxy resin table looking brand new, we’ve put together a simple and practical cleaning and maintenance guide. Follow these easy steps to maintain your table’s shine and durability for years to come.

1. Stick with simple soap and warm water

Mild soap and warm, clean water is a classic combo that always works. Use a microfiber cloth, a soft T-shirt, or even paper towels to clean the surface gently.

2. Use a glass cleaner or multi-surface spray

Almost any glass cleaner will quickly clean your table. Many of them also help kill germs, so you can sanitize while you clean. There are plenty of glass cleaners available these days, and most work great for epoxy surfaces. We recommend using a microfiber cloth because it picks up dust easily and lets you apply some pressure to remove stubborn spots like dried food or sticky residue. If you don’t have a microfiber cloth, any soft, clean cloth will work just fine.

3. Disinfecting your table safely

If you want to disinfect, you can use a diluted bleach solution (1/4 cup bleach mixed with one gallon of cold water). Always wear gloves and avoid skin contact.
Alternatively, a diluted alcohol spray works well too. Make sure to wet the surface thoroughly and let it sit for 30 seconds before wiping it dry.
Avoid frequent use of bleach to keep your table’s glossy finish intact.

4. Protect your table

Keep your table out of direct sunlight to prevent yellowing.
Avoid placing heavy objects on the surface for long periods to prevent dents or stress marks.
Never put hot items directly on the table. Use heat-resistant mats instead.
Avoid scratches by not using sharp or pointed objects directly on the surface.
Clean up spills immediately, especially acidic or staining liquids such as red wine or coffee.

5. Moving your table

Always lift your table when moving it. Do not drag it to avoid stress or damage to legs and joints.

6. Regular inspection and maintenance

Check your table regularly for scratches or signs of wear.
Minor scratches can be smoothed with fine sandpaper and polished to restore shine.
If the surface becomes dull or heavily scratched, consider reapplying an epoxy layer.
