My journey began in a small village in New Jersey. I raised three children on my own while caring for my aging parents. Life was very difficult back then. I often built the furniture we needed with my own hands. Shelves, kitchen racks, simple chairs, tables, and whatever else our home needed.One day, a neighbor visited and saw the table I had made. She asked if I could build one for her and insisted on paying me. That small act sparked hope and possibility.

I set up a small workshop in our backyard. Word spread quickly and more people came seeking custom tables. As orders grew, I realized I could not manage alone. I welcomed five apprentices from nearby towns and shared the skills I had learned through trial and error. What started as a single table became a small business founded on trust and hard work.Today, World Custom Table creates exquisite custom wood and resin furniture using only the finest locally sourced wood. Every piece is carefully handcrafted with meticulous attention to detail. We ensure each table reflects your unique vision while bringing warmth and beauty into your home.

At our sawmill, we mill live edge slabs and carefully stack them on stickers to allow for natural air drying. After this initial drying process, the slabs undergo kiln drying in advanced iDry Kilns to ensure optimal stability and quality. Once fully dried, the slabs are transported to our remote woodworking facility, where they are crafted into our signature live edge tables and furniture pieces.

Our furniture is meticulously crafted from sustainably sourced, premium-quality local woods such as black walnut, walnut, olive wood, poplar, ash, and burl wood. Among these, walnut is particularly favored for its distinctive grain patterns and rich, deep chocolate hues, which impart both elegance and warmth to any interior setting.

We offer tables in rectangular, oval, and round shapes. Rectangular and round coffee tables complement sectional sofas, while oval tables suit smaller spaces. For compact areas, rectangular or oval shapes are ideal, whereas larger seating areas work well with square or round tables. Ideally, your coffee table’s width should not exceed two-thirds of your sofa’s length, allowing ample legroom. The table height should be equal to or slightly lower than the sofa seat for balanced proportions and comfortable use.
